Five Days. One Vision. A Future Powered by XR!

XTIC conducted it’s first 5-Day Faculty Development Program(FDP) from 19th to 23rd May 2025. The theme of the FDP was “Extended Reality (XR): Introduction and Hands-on Experience”.

Educators immersed themselves in the realm of XR for five action-packed days, participating in intriguing sessions, practical development exercises and impactful live demos. Here’s a brief overview of the journey:
Day 1: Introduction to XR
Day 2: Hands-on AR & VR App Development with Unity
Day 3: Exploring Unreal Engine and WebGL
Day 4: Future Trends in XR & Capstone Projects
Day 5: Visit to IIT Madras for XTIC Demos & XR Startup Interactions

On the final day, participants got an exclusive look at some of XTIC’s cutting-edge XR demonstrations including:
Fire Safety Training Simulator
Neonatal Resuscitation (NRP)
In-Vitro Fertilization (IVF) Simulator
ITAD (Interactive Touch Active Display)
360° Immersive Videos
