Indian Institute of Technology, Madras Technology Transfer Office, have signed a Technology Licensing Agreement with SENZR TECHNOLOGIES PRIVATE LIMITED for technology “DEVICE FOR SENSING SURFACE PRESSURE AND METHODS THEREOF” developed by Prof. Manivannan Muniyandi and team from Department of Applied Mechanics. The invention introduces an advanced sensing solution designed to accurately measure and map pressure distribution across surfaces. The device enables real-time detection of applied forces, offering high sensitivity and reliability for diverse applications. By providing precise surface pressure data, the invention supports improved performance and safety in areas such as healthcare monitoring, robotics, industrial testing, and smart materials. Its scalable design and adaptable methodology make it a versatile tool for next-generation pressure sensing applications.
