To support the XR industries and Startups in India, as well as the innovation center as part of the Corridor, a small manufacturing facility specifically for XR hardware would support the ecosystem in a long way.
The manufacturing spaces will be set up with funding from Industries. Projects must align with XR Initiative goals of advancing multidisciplinary learning and teaching, creating innovative learning experiences with augmented and virtual reality, increasing access to XR technologies to a broad audience, creating repeatable processes for content creation and deployment, and developing research to better understand the effectiveness of XR in education.
IITM with its high track record of Hundreds of Successful Research activities and Innovations, commands a High Chance to invite many Funding Sources for Innovation fund. Individual High Calibre CAVE members in Collaboration with IITM will be a good Fortified relationship to invite such innovation funds for Start-ups and other partners in the CAVE eco system.
